“A nous le cinéma !” is a pioneering and unique festival, established over 30 years ago by the CCAJ. Every year in June, hundreds of children and teenagers meet for three to five days in Paris or another major European city. They come from all over the world to present to the public the films they have created in workshops on a common theme. They discuss cinema with guest filmmakers of a wide range of ages, languages, and cultures. |

The 30th edition of À nous le cinéma ! took place from June 3 to 6, 2025, in partnership with the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris. This year, the festival brought together hundreds of students aged 9 to 20 from South Africa, Germany, Brazil, Bulgaria, Spain, Japan, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, the United Kingdom, and seven regions in metropolitan France and overseas. Teachers and speakers, as well as all the local program coordinators (cinematheques, film associations, festivals, etc.) were also present. In front of an audience of 300 people from four continents, and over four days, the films shot in the CCAJ workshops on the theme of “Individual, Group, Community” were screened and discussed in the presence of their young authors. The patrons of this edition, actress and director Marilyne Canto and documentary filmmaker Nicolas Philibert, took part in discussions about the films and talked to the students about their own careers in cinema. Sorbonne Nouvelle University hosted these meetings as part of the Erasmus+ project “Exploring CCAJ”, with which it is associated from 2021 to 2024. |
