À nous le cinéma ! 2025

À nous le cinéma ! at the Sorbonne Nouvelle

30 ans CCAJ

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Cinéma, cent ans de jeunesse, the ‘A nous le cinéma!’ festival was organised at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris.
The partnership between CCAJ and the Sorbonne Nouvelle was formed around an Erasmus+ research project (‘Exploring CCAJ’ project led by the DFF - Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum in Frankfurt): in particular with the IRCAV (Institut de Recherche sur le Cinéma et l'Audiovisuel) and the Master's degree in ‘Didactique de l’image, création d’outils pédagogiques et art de la transmission ’.
30 years of CCAJ means 25,000 students in workshops around the world, hundreds of thousands of hours of film, more than 1,500 films... A rare and valuable experience, the result of a methodology developed over many years: interprofessional training for teachers and film practitioners, long-term workshops combining film viewing and filmmaking, and a festival to present the films made in the workshops to an international audience.
A proposal that can be opened up to a larger number of students in France and other countries.
