FR / Une affaire de mallette
 / Dans un cinéma, un homme téléphone à quelqu’un pour lui demander un couteau bien aiguisé. Un employé du cinéma entend la conversation et la trouve suspecte. Il décide donc de suivre l’homme. Son enquête le mène jusqu’à un village. L’homme s’arrête devant un commissariat et remarque qu’il est suivi. L’employé du cinéma se heurte à un groupe d’enfants et perd de vue l’homme à la mallette. Il entre dans un supermarché et demande à un employé s’il n’a pas vu un homme suspect, avec une mallette. Il pose la même question dans un fish and chips. Il aperçoit enfin l’homme en train d’échanger sa mallette avec quelqu’un d’autre. L’homme à la mallette est à présent assis devant le commissariat. Il ouvre sa mallette et en sort un couteau. L’employé du cinéma, très inquiet, demande à une policière d’intervenir. Elle s’approche de l’homme et dit : « Vous avez là un bien grand couteau, monsieur ». L’homme à la mallette réplique : « Il faut dire que je mange un grand sandwich, Madame l’agent ».
EN / A Brief Case / A man is in a cinema. He makes a telephone call, telling someone that he hasn’t got what he needs: a sharp knife. A cinema attendant overhears this conversation. He thinks the man is acting suspiciously so chooses to follow him. His investigation leads him into a village. The man stops by a police station and notices he is being followed. The cinema attendant bumps into a group of children and loses sight of the man with the briefcase. He enters a supermarket and asks a shopkeeper if they have seen a suspicious man with a briefcase. Then enters a fish and chip shop and asks the same question. He finally spots the man swapping his briefcase with another person. The man with the briefcase is now sitting outside the police station and opens the briefcase. He takes out a knife. The cinema attendant is now so concerned he asks a policewoman to help. The policewoman goes up to the man and says: “That’s a very large knife you have there sir”. The man with the briefcase replies, “Well it’s a very large sandwich officer”.
CAT / Un ganivet gran / 
En una sala de cinema, un home telefona a un amic per demanar-li un ganivet ben afilat. Un treballador del cinema escolta la conversa i la troba sospitosa. Decideix seguir-lo. La investigació el porta a un poble on li succeeixen moltes trobades i el condueix fins a una comissaria. Assegut en un banc, l'home treu un ganivet enorme de la maleta i després queixala un entrepà molt gros. Una policia s'apropa « Senyor, veig que teniu un ganivet ben gran! ». « Però és que és un entrepà ben gros, Senyora! », respon l'home.
DE / Ein großes Messer
 / Ein Mann ruft aus einem Kino einen Freund an und fragt ihn nach einem scharfen Messer. Ein Mitarbeiter des Kinos wird Zeuge dieses Gespräches und findet es verdächtig. Er beschließt, dem Mann zu folgen. Seine Ermittlungen führen ihn in ein Dorf, wo er mehrere Bekanntschaften macht und schließlich zu einer Polizeistation kommt. Der Mann, der im Kino telefonierte, sitzt dort auf einer Bank und nimmt ein riesiges Messer aus seiner Aktentasche und beißt in ein großes Sandwich. Eine Polizistin nähert sich ihm und bemerkt: "Das ist aber ein großes Messer, das sie da haben, mein Herr!" "Es ist auch ein sehr großes Sandwich" antwortet der Mann.
PT / Uma faca grande
 / Num cinema, um homem telefona a um amigo para lhe pedir uma faca bem afiada. Um empregado do cinema ouve a conversa e acha-a suspeita. Decide então segui- lo. A sua pesquisa leva-o a uma aldeia, onde faz vários encontros, e vai até á esquadra. Sentado num banco, o homem tira uma grande faca da sua maleta ecomeça a comer uma enorme sandwich, Uma polícia aproxima-se. “É uma faca bem grande que o senhor tem!”. “Mas também é uma
grande sandwich minha senhora!”, responde o homem.
